• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years in payroll, HR, finance, or related processing.
• Ability to report to local office 2–4 times per month.
• Knowledge of payroll laws and internal controls.
• Strong analytical and time-management skills.
• Effective communication with employees and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Process and balance bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees.
• Reconcile payroll records and perform cost analyses.
• Analyze payroll-related bank and GL accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate third-party payments and leave-related adjustments.
• Maintain payroll system data in accordance with regulations.
• Support audits with documentation and reports.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and management.
• Manage payroll system administration including setup and terminations.
• Process wage garnishments and union dues reporting.
• Assist with year-end activities including W-2 processing.
• Provide backup coverage for California payroll team hours (10:30–19:00 ET).
