PWS Employment is recruiting a Senior Payroll & HR Compliance Analyst for an organization looking for someone who can bring expert accuracy and strong judgment to a critical Compensation & Benefits team.

This isn't simply a "process payroll" position, but a role that understands what happens behind the numbers — taxes, compliance, leave administration, audits, reporting and the regulations that must be right every time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in payroll, leave management and HR compliance.
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxes and compliance using UKG.
• Hands-on with FMLA, ADA and leave administration.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Strong Excel and reporting/analytics skills.
• Knowledge of wage-and-hour requirements.
• Experience auditing payroll, benefits or HR data.
• Bachelor's degree and payroll/HR compliance certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing and accuracy.
• Federal, state and local payroll tax compliance.
• Payroll reconciliation and reporting with Finance/Accounting.
• Wage and hour compliance.
• FMLA, ADA and other statutory/company leave programs.
• Employee benefits administration within the HRIS.
• HRIS data integrity, reporting and analytics.
• Payroll and HR compliance audits.
• Process improvement and automation.
• SOP development and documentation.
• Employee and manager guidance on payroll and leave questions.
• Training and supporting junior team members.
