Job summary

West Shore Home in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a Senior Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll and commissions, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payments. You will supervise Payroll Specialists and the Commissions team while remaining hands-on in processing, audits, system configuration, and continuous improvement.

The role partners with HR, Accounting, HRIS, and business leaders to establish controls, scalable processes, and cross-training programs, and to address complex payroll

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education related to work experience required.
• CPP certification preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive payroll experience in a complex environment.
• 5+ years of leadership/management experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and wage/hour rules.
• Experience with Dayforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Payroll and Commissions functions with direct leadership and development to staff.
• Hands-on bi-weekly payroll processing, reconciliations, audits, and timely submissions.
• Oversee end-to-end commissions process per approved plans and policies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, HR to resolve discrepancies.
• Own payroll governance, controls, SOPs, and audit procedures.
• Ensure compliance with wage/hour, payroll taxes, garnishments, and recordkeeping.
• Support acquisitions and system configuration during integrations.
