Lyric is the trusted leader in healthcare decision intelligence. The Senior Payroll Analyst ensures accurate end-to-end payroll operations for a multi-state employee population using Workday Payroll, coordinating with HRIS and a third-party processor to maintain data integrity and timely payments.

The role requires at least five years of full-cycle payroll experience, three years with Workday Payroll, and strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in full cycle payroll processing.
• Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on Workday Payroll experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain payroll concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee third-party payroll provider; monitor performance and verify outputs.
• Manage biweekly and semimonthly payroll for ~450 employees.
• Lead Workday payroll configuration activities; create earnings/deduction codes and rules.
• Resolve payroll issues through cross-functional partnerships with HRIS and Finance.
• Perform payroll audits and reconcile earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
• Stay current on federal/state/local payroll requirements and implement updates.
• Respond to employee pay inquiries and resolve escalated issues.
• Develop and review payroll procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
