This remote role is US-based, with compensation ranging from $113,000 to $151,000 annually and opportunities to lead year-end processes and payroll improvements.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • 7+ years of payroll processing experience with US/Canada.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state/provincial payroll taxes.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll system.
  • CPP or equivalent designation is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end payroll processing for 800 employees in US and Canada.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and reporting.
  • Resolve payroll issues with internal partners and external vendors.
  • Collaborate with People Operations and vendors on benefits deductions.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst, North America to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will own end-to-end payroll execution for a multi-country workforce, with a primary focus on accuracy, compliance, and employee support across the U.S. and Canada. The position partners closely with People Operations, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely payroll processing and proper benefit deductions. It also serves as a key resource for payroll best practices, system capability, and year-end reporting activities.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $113,000 – $151,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 800 employees in the U.S. and Canada
  • Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements
  • Resolve payroll issues through effective collaboration with internal partners and external vendors
  • Partner with People Operations and external vendors to ensure accurate benefit deductions
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll best practices and system capabilities
  • Assist with year-end activities, including W-2s and tax filings
  • Mentor and guide the Payroll Administrator
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 7+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably with U.S. and Canadian payrolls
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state/provincial payroll tax regulations
  • Experience with payroll systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent designation is a plus
