Job summary

Carpenter Technology Corporation is seeking a Payroll Analyst IV to lead and optimize payroll processes across multiple programs in the United States. You will manage expatriate payroll, ensure tax compliance, and drive system upgrades with the payroll team.

The role requires a CPP and at least eight years of payroll experience, with strong analytical and leadership skills to guide staff and collaborate with HR and finance colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Four year college degree required and CPP certification.
  • Eight or more years of experience in a payroll position.
  • Advanced understanding of payroll administration, recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Ability to lead payroll staff and direct work as required by Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently on complex payroll tasks with guidance for complex issues.
  • Prepare, process, maintain, verify and reconcile multiple payrolls.
  • Manage expatriate program including balance sheets and tax compliance.
  • Act as functional lead on payroll integration and system upgrades.
  • Provide high-level analysis and respond to non-standard requests from stakeholders.
