The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to ensure compliance with laws and manage payroll processes effectively. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related experience in Payroll or Accounting.

The Senior Payroll Analyst contributes to the fulfillment of the university's mission and vision by ensuring system functionality and compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. The role involves exercising discretion and professional judgment in examining and evaluating payroll; managing the accounting and reconciliation, recording, monitoring, and reporting of all payroll-related accounts; interacting with staff to accurately and timely process payroll, including review, verification, and reconciliation of each payroll; reviewing and approving payroll tax processing, adjustments, and other payroll-related requests as needed; assisting the Fiscal Manager in the supervision of the payroll staff; and identifying and implementing continuous process improvements.
