Job summary

Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage payroll across all locations and oversee payroll tax reporting and W-2 processing. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy in data handling, and strong knowledge of payroll systems.

Responsibilities include onboarding, updating employee data, timekeeping audits, 941 deposits, general ledger reconciliations, and secure handling of payroll information.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification or other recognized payroll certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process all new hires and personnel changes while maintaining an accurate employee database.
• Audit timesheets, time records, and timecards; reconcile payroll records to the general ledger.
• Process 941 tax deposits and payroll tax filings according to IRS guidelines.
• Prepare and distribute W-2s and ensure accuracy and on-time delivery each year.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee, payroll, and agency information.
