Job summary

Unio Health Partners in California is seeking a Payor Contract Specialist who will independently analyze managed care contracts, interpret reimbursement methodologies, and optimize contract performance to support financial and operational goals.

You will collaborate with RCM, Finance, and Operations to align terms with workflows, deliver actionable recommendations to leadership, and drive process improvements across contract management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in managed care, payor contracting, revenue cycle, or healthcare financial analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of reimbursement methodologies, fee schedules, and payor structures.
• Ability to interpret contracts and translate terms into financial and operational impact.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates managed care contracts and interprets their financial and operational impact.
• Analyzes contract performance, reimbursement trends, and variances; develops optimization recommendations.
• Guides leadership on contract terms, reimbursement methodologies, and financial implications.
