Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Payments to own end-to-end delivery of complex payments initiatives. You will connect product, technology, operations, risk, and external partners to ensure on-time, in-scope programs with measurable impact.

The role requires deep payments knowledge, strong project management discipline, and the ability to navigate payment rails (Visa, Mastercard, NACHA, RTP, FedNow, SWIFT) while maintaining PCI-DSS and Reg E compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project or program management, with at least 5+ years in payments/fintech or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic payments programs, including launches, migrations, and regulatory initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, and dashboards for executives and teams.
• Drive delivery with agile/hybrid frameworks and manage budgets, resources, and vendor contracts.
• Define acceptance criteria for payment flows and ensure compliance with network rules and security standards.
• Provide cross-functional leadership and stakeholder communications.
