The role focuses on Java-based API enabled applications, event-driven architecture, and modern data practices to deliver scalable software for multiple channels. The position emphasizes learning new technologies, agile practices, and potential for certifications in cloud architecture/engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 7+ years of Java development experience with API-enabled apps.
• Proficient in SQL and databases (Oracle, Snowflake).
• 2+ years in production support or infra engineering.
• Experience with DevSecOps and Kubernetes.
• Certifications in cloud architect/engineer/developer are preferred.
• Experience on product teams and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specs.
• Provide technical assistance for hardware or software problems.
• Maintain knowledge of tools for systems development and support.
• Stay current with Huntington's tech trends.
• Assist in identifying training needs or training staff.
• May serve as project lead for specific projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
