Job summary

Rippling’s Payments Data & Analytics team seeks a Senior Data Analyst - Payments to design, build, and maintain services processing large financial data and provide visibility into money movement within Rippling’s payments product ecosystem.

You’ll partner with Accounting, Finance, Biz Ops, Payments and Product to deliver accurate data for month-end close, regulatory reporting, audits, and real-time dashboards. This is a cross-functional role with exposure to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Econ, Math, or related field.
• 4+ years of analytics experience on large datasets, ideally payments or finance.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and reporting tools.
• Strong SQL skills across data analysis, modeling, and deployment.
• Ability to work with engineering, finance, and accounting teams to build automated reports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, accounting, finance, and product teams.
• Build full-cycle analyses using SQL, Python, and dashboards.
• Monitor payment flows, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide data-driven insights for month-end close and audits.
• Develop scalable reporting solutions and internal tooling.
