Job summary

Brigit is seeking a payments analytics professional to optimize the balance between transaction costs and success rates across ACH and card rails. You will join the Data & Analytics team within Team Money, leveraging your SQL expertise and payments knowledge to inform decisions that impact profitability.

In this role you will partner with Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Operations to analyze failures, evaluate configurations, and implement smarter collection timing and payment strategies

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL: write complex queries and maintain data models.
• Strong payments knowledge: ACH, card networks, settlement timing.
• Experience partnering with Data Science teams to translate model outputs into decisions.
• Sharp investigative instincts to spot anomalies in payment data.
• Able to operate in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze tradeoffs between transaction costs and success rates for ACH and card rails.
• Investigate payment failure patterns and drive remediations with engineering and product.
• Evaluate routing and collection strategies and size impacts of configurations.
• Assess retry logic for cost and member experience implications.
• Build and refine alerts for payment anomalies and performance spikes.
• Collaborate with Data Science to deploy and evaluate predictive models.
• Build dashboards to monitor model performance post-launch.
• Translate model outputs into business insights for stakeholders.
