Job summary

The Specialist 2 audits data, generates recoverable claims, and mentors junior staff to ensure high-quality outcomes for Cotiviti and clients. Base compensation ranges from $29.00 to $34.25 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and a focus on healthcare payment integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 4–6 years healthcare experience.
• 3–4 years Cotiviti experience recommended for internal opportunities.
• Healthcare industry knowledge of claim adjustments and payment integrity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SQL experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit client data and generate recoverable claims for Cotiviti and clients.
• Train Specialist levels and mentor less-tenured team members.
• Utilize RMS and client systems to complete auditing and review reports.
• Analyze large data sets to identify issues, discrepancies and trends in claims.
• Develop and test new audit concepts; collaborate with Engineering on reports.
