Nicklaus Children's Pediatric Specialists LLC is seeking a Payer Operations Analyst to lead system-wide payer analytics and negotiations using BI/Data Visualization and contract modeling tools. The role partners with Finance, Decision Support, Strategy, and Revenue Cycle to drive evidence-based decisions.

The position requires strong financial analytics, knowledge of managed care trends, and the ability to support budget analyses while delivering timely insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Health Service Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial and data analytics.
• MBA or MHA preferred.
• Experience with contract modeling systems and BI/data visualization.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision making.
• Experience in health plans or hospital finance/strategy.
• Background in Managed Care contracting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports in development and implementation of payer analytics reports.
• Demonstrates leadership in performing intricate financial analysis.
• Keeps up with Statewide/National managed care and Medicaid payer trends and provides recommendations.
• Supports managed care negotiations with timely analytics for leadership.
• Produces and disseminates matrices for payer rates, charge masters, and payer updates.
• Coordinates reporting and research to support payer-specific initiatives.
• Supports yearly managed care budget analysis and preparation.
