Job summary

Nicklaushealth seeks a Payer Operations Analyst to lead system-wide payer analytics, support government and commercial negotiations, and partner with Finance, Decision Support, Strategy, and Revenue Cycle.

The role requires strong data analytics, knowledge of contract modeling systems, and proficiency in BI and data visualization tools. You will collaborate across departments and help deliver actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Health Service Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Supports development and implementation of payer analytics reports.
• Demonstrates leadership in performing intricate financial analysis.
• Stays updated on statewide/national managed care and Medicaid payer trends.
• Supports managed care negotiations with timely analytics for leadership.
• Maintains departmental matrices including payer rates, charge master changes, and payer updates.
• Produces reporting and analytics to support system-wide payer initiatives.
• Participates in yearly managed care budget analysis and preparation.
