Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking a Level II Phased Array UT Technician for the Evansville, IN area. The role involves setting up equipment, performing PAUT tests, and documenting results with minimal supervision.

The candidate must hold a PAUT-focused NDT qualification (Level II preferred) or Level I with substantial field experience, and possess TWIC and a valid driver’s license. The position requires strong problem solving and precise data presentation within applicable standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A required.
• PAUT/NDE Level II cert or Level I cert with field experience per SNT-TC1A required.
• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• TWIC and Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to supervise trainees and Level I personnel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with Phased Array NDT technique.
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Direct work of trainees and Level I personnel.
• Be familiar with codes, standards, and contractual documents.
• Work with minimal supervision and identify problems.
• Obtain and analyze information and present numerical data clearly.
