Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking a Phased Array UT Technician to perform advanced ultrasonic inspections at customer sites across the United States. You will set up PAUT equipment, interpret data, and prepare detailed reports while adhering to codes and safety standards.

The role requires PAUT certification and prior field experience, with opportunities for travel, overtime, and working in industrial environments. Comprehensive benefits and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Current Level II or Level III PAUT certification required.
• Previous PAUT field experience required.
• Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A.
• Prior Level II certification on Phased Array, UTSW per SNT-TC1A standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform PAUT inspections on welds, piping, pressure vessels, and structural components.
• Set up and calibrate PAUT equipment.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection data per codes and specifications.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain inspection records.
• Travel to customer sites throughout the U.S. as project demands require.
• Work overtime, weekends, and outage schedules when necessary.
