Job summary

Executive Profiles Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Patternmaker/Technical Designer with a minimum of 4 years of Cut & Sew Knit experience to join our fashion team in New York. You will develop tech packs, patterns, and size grading under the Technical Design Manager.

Responsibilities include vendor communication, fit notes with photos, updating technical packages for factories and overseas vendors, and ensuring construction accuracy through follow-up on samples and measurements.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years Patternmaking/technical design experience with Cut & Sew Knits
• Walmart Knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in PLM, Lectra, Browzwear and V Stitcher is a plus, Microsoft Excel, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Work with the Technical Design Manager submitting detailed tech packs including sketch, measurements and size grading.
• Create patterns based on styles from production patterns adhering to company guidelines
• Assist in fit sessions: take notes and photos of the required corrections on fit and construction and send them to the vendor.
• Update Technical Packages to be sent to in house factories and overseas vendors including construction sketch, construction description, and garment proposed specs.
• Follow up fit samples for construction and measurement accuracy.
• Evaluate each garment spec measurements, yarns, stitches and construction detail.
• Review with vendors on grading and/or construction corrections that are required.
