Job summary

Providence Swedish's Maternal and Fetal Specialty Center is seeking a Senior Patient Services Specialist to support and coordinate patient care services. This role operates with independence in planning and executing clerical and administrative duties within the team.

The Senior PSS will contribute to a patient-focused environment, handling insurance verifications, referrals, and authorizations while aligning with our mission of compassionate care at Swedish First Hill.

Qualifications

• Within 6 months of hire: Medical Terminology Certification.
• Experience in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred; 1 year healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and clinical coordination of multiple patient care services.
• Plan and accomplish a wide spectrum of clerical and administrative duties independently.
