CHRISTUS Health in Irving, TX is seeking a Revenue Cycle Associate to support the Revenue Cycle division. The role focuses on account resolution and reconciliation of patient balances, working in a collaborative team to provide value to internal and external customers.

You will handle billing, collections, and cash posting, ensuring compliance with payer guidelines and regulations while maintaining accurate host system documentation. A strong understanding of CPT/HCPCS is beneficial.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent years of experience required.
• Post HS education preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience preferred.
• Experience in multi-facility hospital business office preferred.
• Experience with UB-04 and HCFA 1500 billing forms preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform Revenue Cycle functions to meet key performance metrics.
• Ensure PFS department quality and productivity standards.
• Collect and provide patient and payor information for account resolution.
• Respond to all account inquiries via written, verbal, or electronic correspondence.
• Maintain payor knowledge of insurance and self-pay guidelines and regulations.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve account questions.
• Billing: review edits, work on rejected claims, and handle billing requests.
• Collections: collect balances due from payors and resolve denials.
• Cash Reconciliation: post payments accurately and reconcile with bank statements.
• Investigate unapplied cash and follow up until payment is identified.
