CHRISTUS Health is seeking an associate to support the Revenue Cycle division by ensuring timely and accurate processing of patient accounts. The role emphasizes account resolution, adherence to regulations, and collaboration with internal/external customers to improve reimbursement timelines.

You will handle claim edits, payor follow-ups, and documentation within the patient accounting systems, while applying CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 guidelines and government requirements.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent years of experience required.
• Post HS education preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience preferred.
• Experience in a multi-facility hospital business office environment preferred.
• Experience with inpatient/outpatient UB-04 and HCFA 1500 billing forms preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing processes is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs Revenue Cycle functions to meet key performance metrics.
• Collects and provides patient and payor information to facilitate resolution.
• Research government requirements prior to claims submission.
• Communicates effectively with internal and external customers to resolve questions.
• Maintains knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding guidelines.
• Manages claim edits, payor rejections, and billing requests.

Formation
