Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Patient Collections Representative. This position helps patients understand and resolve balances through accurate account review, respectful communication, payment options, financial-assistance resources, documentation, and follow-through.

Position Details:

• Location: Northbrook, IL
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (onsite)
• Compensation: $24-$29hr based on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-5 years of healthcare patient financial services, medical-office customer service, call-center collections, or related experience.
• Basic understanding of patient responsibility, insurance explanations, payment processing, documentation, and customer service.
• Strong ownership, follow-through, documentation, prioritization, and escalation judgment.
• Ability to work accurately in a high-volume, deadline-driven healthcare environment.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, communicate clearly, and collaborate across departments.
• Commitment to privacy, compliance, quality, continuous improvement, and respectful service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical-office or patient-account experience.
