Inova Health System is seeking a Patient Financial Services Representative 4 - Customer Service for our CALL CENTER. This full-time, day-shift role (Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:00pm) offers hybrid work options for eligible candidates residing in VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV.

The role handles claim editing, submission, and follow-up across multiple payer types, maintaining productivity and quality standards while supporting team members and acting in the supervisor's absence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3 years of related experience.
• 3 years of experience in revenue cycle, finance, customer service or data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Submit clean claims the day they are received with required attachments.
• Resolve complex issues by coordinating with team members and payers.
• Review claims and initiate corrections or resolutions within 24 hours.
• Handle high-dollar accounts and provide appropriate follow-up.
• Document all account activity within 48 hours.
• Record activity in HealthQuest and TRAC with professional documentation.
• Work payer response and rejection reports meeting productivity standards.
• Take direction from management and support team in supervisor's absence.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
