LucyRx is seeking a Senior Patient Advocate to be a key member of the Prescription Optimization Program in The Colony, TX. You will assist members in obtaining critical medications, act as their personal advocate, and guide them through the prescription process to secure cost-effective options.

You will collaborate with doctors, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical companies while handling forms, calls, and care coordination with a patient-centric mindset.

Qualifications

  • Active Pharmacy Technician license in good standing from any U.S. state.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; if not currently certified, must have the willingness and ability to obtain CPhT certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
  • Solid time management and follow through.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, present complex information to members, clients, pharmacies, and providers.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently, define problems as they arise, and work through them.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills, information gathering, research, alternatives analysis, applying creative solutions to unique and/or immediate issues.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Prescription Optimization Program
  • Work with clients and members to allow them to utilize all the benefits of the Prescription Optimization Program
  • Provide appropriate triage and care coordination to clients, members, providers, and pharmacies
  • Collaboration with all internal and external teams to support the POP program
  • Take inbound calls to members, providers, and pharmacies
  • Manage and process incoming and outgoing forms, information, and data to provide patient assistance to the members
  • Manage every call by accurately resolving the issue, demonstrating compassion, meeting compliance requirements, and ensuring a hassle-free experience for our members
  • Have a patient centric mindset and a high sense of urgency
