Job summary

Providence Kadlec Regional Medical Center is seeking a Scheduling Trainer to support patient access and central scheduling activities. Under supervision, you will train staff, verify orders, schedule, register patients, and ensure insurance coverage and authorizations meet requirements.

You will help collect upfront revenue, maintain accurate patient information, and uphold patient safety and hospital quality measures in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years central scheduling experience.
• Experience with medical terminology preferred.
• Data entry and insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide training to new and existing hires in scheduling.
• Schedule, register patients, and verify insurance coverage.
• Obtain pre-certifications, referrals, or authorizations as needed.
• Assist in collecting upfront revenue and patient information accuracy.
• Support patient safety and hospital quality measures.
