Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-services for outpatient procedures and complete scheduling, registration and insurance verification.
• Identify patient correctly and maintain accurate EMR information.
• Collect financial information including payment from patient/guarantor.
• Obtain insurance details, benefits and authorizations for services provided.
• Calculate copays, deductibles and coinsurance; obtain required consents and signatures.
• Provide information on Patient Rights, Privacy and Advance Care Directives and schedule procedures per policy.
