Job summary

Fulgent Therapeutics LLC is seeking a Certified Pathologist Assistant to support grossing, tissue processing, and microscopy workflows. The role requires ASP/AAAPA certification and CLIA high-complexity testing eligibility, with 1+ year of pathology experience.

Willingness to train staff and coordinate workflows is essential. The position reports to the Senior Director Medical Practice Operations, with potential travel to partner facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Pathologists' Assistant by AAAPA or ASCP, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemical science; Master’s degree preferred.
• Must meet CLIA ’88 criteria to perform high-complexity testing.
• Knowledge of pathology procedures, protocols, and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Dissect and histologically sample specimens per guidelines.
• Describe gross features and submit areas for histologic prep.
• Train Grossing Technicians on simple–moderate cases.
• Coordinate weekends for breast specimen fixation times.
