Lowenstein Sandler, a leading U.S. law firm, seeks a Senior Patent Practice Secretary in Roseland, NJ. You will provide specialized patent-support to attorneys, manage complex docketing, draft documents, and coordinate filings with USPTO and foreign offices.

A strong focus on client service and confidentiality is required. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in patent prosecution, with advanced knowledge of CFR/MPEP and proficiency in Word/Outlook/Excel and docket software.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree preferred, 5+ years of experience in patent prosecution. Law firm experience preferred.
Advanced knowledge of CFR, MPEP and other patent-related laws and regulations.
Working knowledge of the USPTO Patent Center and EPAS.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, docket software, database management and contact management.

Mansioni

Provide high-level assistance to attorneys, agents and law clerks in managing multiple clients and matters.
Assist with preparing new patent applications for filing (provisionals, non-provisionals, continuations, divisionals, §371 national filings).
Prepare and file documents with USPTO and international patent offices; coordinate with foreign agents.
Review and manage client docket, ensure timely communications and update docket staff.
Draft complex correspondence and maintain confidentiality of all client information.
