Orion Placement seeks a patent litigation paralegal to support experienced IP attorneys on sophisticated disputes. This remote-first role allows you to work from anywhere in the United States with a flexible schedule and collaborative team.

You will handle case files, deadlines, court filings, and discovery, coordinating with clients and experts while maintaining meticulous document management. This position emphasizes independent work and professional growth within a boutique IP practice.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct patent litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong understanding of federal court litigation procedures.
• Experience managing complex litigation case files.
• Excellent organizational and document management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Trial preparation experience is a plus.
• PTAB experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of complex patent litigation.
• Manage case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars.
• Prepare and file court documents in federal courts.
• Coordinate document collection, review, and production.
• Assist with fact discovery, expert discovery, and deposition preparation.
• Organize exhibits and trial materials.
• Coordinate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and vendors.
• Assist with trial preparation and case management from inception through resolution.
