Terrestrial Bio, Inc. in Allston, MA and Woburn, MA is seeking a Principal Scientist / Associate Director to lead the PAT function for the MAP program. You will own the PAT vision, identify in-process analytical technologies, and drive real-time process monitoring across manufacturing lines.

This role combines technical leadership with program strategy to advance RTRT toward Phase 3 IND readiness and eventual commercialization, while partnering with Manufacturing and Process Development units.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 10+ years in PAT or process analytics.
• Proven track record leading PAT strategy from development to manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in chemometrics and multivariate data analysis (PLS, PCA).

Responsabilités

• Own and drive the PAT strategy and roadmap for the VX-201 MAP program.
• Lead technology evaluation, vendor selection, and capital procurement for PAT systems.
• Direct development and validation of PAT methods including chemometric models.
• Establish PAT control strategy and integrate tools into manufacturing with SPC.
• Prepare PAT sections of regulatory submissions and engage in health authority discussions.
