Job summary

The First Baptist Church of Cochran is seeking a full-time Senior Pastor to lead our congregation in biblical preaching, shepherding our church family, and providing spiritual and administrative leadership.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s Degree from an accredited seminary, have experience in a Southern Baptist church, and be committed to evangelism, discipleship, and equipping believers for ministry while working with staff and deacons.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited seminary (Southern Baptist Seminary preferred).
• Experience serving in a Southern Baptist church.
• Ability to preach biblically grounded sermons and lead corporate worship.
• Proven experience supervising staff and providing ministry vision.
• Ability to work collaboratively with deacons and church leadership.
