Job summary

Faith Baptist Church invites applications for a full-time Senior Pastor to lead the church, cast vision, and oversee staff and volunteers in advancing the kingdom of God and the church's mission.

The successful candidate will preach and teach God's word, provide spiritual guidance, and coordinate ministries for adults, youth, and children, while partnering with the Deacon Team and Trustees in planning and outreach.

Qualifications

• Pastoral ministry experience and Bible knowledge.
• Ability to lead staff and volunteers with biblical doctrine.
• Strong communication, counseling, and empathetic leadership.
• Ability to set goals and coordinate ministry programs.
• Commitment to church vision and mission.

Responsibilities

• Preaching/teaching at worship services and providing substitutes when needed.
• Discussing with Deacons and carrying out church discipline per biblical principles.
• Overall ministry planning and staff coordination with regular meetings.
• Overseeing adult, teen, and children’s ministries aligning with doctrine.
• Emotional leadership and conflict resolution to unify the church body.
