RubinBrown LLP seeks a dynamic Partner, Assurance Services – Financial Institutions in Chicago. Lead the FI assurance practice, drive client relationships, and shape strategic direction for audit quality and regulatory excellence.

You will oversee complex engagements, mentor future leaders, and collaborate across teams to accelerate growth while upholding RubinBrown’s One Firm culture and professional integrity.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA license required.
• 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience, with substantial expertise serving financial institutions.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, AICPA auditing standards, and financial institution regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated success managing complex client relationships and advising executive leadership, audit committees, and boards of directors.
• Proven track record of driving business development, expanding client relationships, and contributing to sustainable practice growth.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategic client relationships with financial institutions, serving as trusted advisor to executive leadership, audit committees, and boards of directors.
• Provide technical leadership on complex accounting, auditing, and regulatory matters, including CECL, loans and deposits, fair value, derivatives, and regulatory reporting.
• Direct assurance engagements from planning through completion, ensuring audit quality, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of commitments.
• Champion audit quality and risk management by maintaining rigorous professional standards, independence compliance, and technical excellence.
• Drive engagement performance and profitability through budgeting, staffing, resource allocation, realization, and financial results.
• Accelerate business development and practice growth by identifying opportunities, expanding client relationships, and pursuing strategic engagements.
• Leverage cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated client solutions and expand the reach and impact of RubinBrown’s Financial Institutions practice.
• Build and develop high-performing teams through recruiting, mentorship, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Champion RubinBrown’s One Firm culture by fostering collaboration, accountability, ethical leadership, and professional excellence.
