Job summary

RubinBrown LLP in St. Louis seeks a Partner to lead the Assurance Services – Financial Institutions practice. The role combines strategic leadership, client development, and deep technical expertise in GAAP, CECL, and regulatory matters.

You will manage complex engagements, mentor teams, and shape the growth of RubinBrown’s financial institutions platform while upholding the firm’s One Firm culture and commitment to audit quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 10+ years of progressive public accounting experience, with substantial expertise serving financial institutions.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, AICPA auditing standards, and financial institution regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic relationships with financial institutions and serve as trusted advisor to executives, audit committees and boards.
• Provide technical leadership on accounting, auditing, CECL, loans/deposits, fair value, derivatives, and regulatory reporting.
• Direct assurance engagements from planning through completion with focus on audit quality and regulatory compliance.
• Drive engagement performance and profitability through budgeting, staffing, and resource oversight.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and pursue strategic engagements in the FI space.
• Lead succession planning and development of future leaders while upholding RubinBrown’s One Firm culture.
