Job summary

The Town of Firestone is seeking a Parks Maintenance Technician III to manage maintenance, landscaping, and facility upkeep across parks, trails, and fields. You will operate equipment, perform safety inspections, and support event setups under the Parks Foreman.

Required: high school diploma and four years of maintenance/landscape experience. CDL B, pesticide certifications, and related licenses preferred. Outdoor work year-round with strong teamwork and safety focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Four years of maintenance, landscape or construction experience is required.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and construction activities across parks and facilities.
• Operate a variety of park maintenance equipment and inspect for safety.
• Mow, prune, plant, mulch, and maintain beds and trails.
• Assist with event setup and town projects; follow safety procedures.
