Job summary

Youth Service Bureau of Illinois Valley in Rockford, IL seeks a Parenting Education Program Supervisor to oversee the administration, supervision of staff, and delivery of evidence-based parenting classes in group and individual settings.

Qualified candidates will have a master’s in human services (or BA with extensive supervisory experience), strong communication skills, and the ability to supervise others; scheduling may include evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services with supervisory experience preferred; bachelor’s degree in human services with 5 years supervisory experience will be considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to supervise others.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and supervision for the Parenting Education Program.
• Oversee staff, training, case documentation, monthly billing, and contract/funding reports.
• Work with parents who are connected to the court system via DCFS, Adult Probation, or referrals.
