Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking an experienced EMSSenior Paramedic to manage ambulance operations and deliver advanced life support in the pre-hospital environment and during transport.

You must hold NC EMT-Paramedic certification with BCLS/ACLS, a valid NC driver's license, and at least two years of full-time paramedic experience or EMS leadership experience; strong training and record-keeping skills are required.

Qualifications

• NC EMT-Paramedic certification.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications.
• Valid NC driver''s license with a good driving history.
• Two years full-time experience as a paramedic or two years in EMS leadership or a mix of paramedic/leadership experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ambulance operations and advanced life support in pre-hospital and transport.
• Perform training and in-service.
• Maintain shift-training records and screen ACRs for completeness.
• Operate as the first link in the chain of command.
