Job summary

The role requires Paramedic certification in Texas, two years of EMS experience, a valid TX driver’s license, and CPR within 14 days of hire. Strong communication and composure under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED at hire.
• Texas EMT-Paramedic certification at hire.
• Minimum two years of continuous experience with St. Joseph.
• CPR certification within 14 days of hire.
• Valid Texas Driver's License at hire.
• Ability to perform under stress and in dynamic scenes.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced emergency medical care and transport to critically ill or injured patients.
• Rapidly assess scenes, evaluate conditions and document care during transport.
• Demonstrate expert clinical skills and compassionate communication.
• Perform RSI and administer medications as directed.
• Maintain scene safety for crew, patients and bystanders.
