Job summary

Spears & Shelf, LLP, a woman-owned trust and estate firm in San Francisco, seeks a senior paralegal who understands the substance behind the paperwork and who will lead the client experience from first call to final deliverable. This is a leadership role with real ownership and predictable hours for work-life balance.

You will supervise staff and outside service providers, keep matters on schedule, and serve as the go-to resource for questions that do not require an attorney.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of law firm paralegal experience, with substantial work in estates and trusts.
• Experience supervising staff, managing vendors, or running a workflow is a strong plus.
• Strong client communication and ability to balance deadlines with quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the client experience from first call to final deliverable.
• Supervise staff, outside service providers, and workflow.
• Keep estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters on schedule.
• Coordinate drafts, reviews, and questions with drafters and attorneys.
