Job summary

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management, Office of the General Counsel, seeks a Supervisory Paralegal Specialist to supervise paralegal operations supporting litigation, electronic discovery, ethics and financial disclosure, FOIA and Privacy Act matters, and administrative claims.

The role provides technical guidance and manages paralegal program operations, requiring one year of specialized experience at GS-12 level or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Requires one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 in the Federal service
• Experience in reviewing documents, electronic discovery, and exhibits for litigation
• Experience drafting discovery requests and responses and ensuring procedural compliance
• Experience developing or revising paralegal policies, procedures, or templates
• Experience coordinating legal support with attorneys and program officials

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct paralegal operations supporting litigation and related matters
• Provide technical guidance and manage paralegal program operations
• Support electronic discovery, FOIA/PA, ethics and disclosures, and other legal matters
• Coordinate assignments with attorneys and stakeholders to deliver completed legal products
