Job summary

Rayonier Operating Company LLC in Atlanta, GA, seeks a seasoned Paralegal to support four attorneys on forestry matters, rural real estate transactions, and contract management. You will draft, review, and organize real estate contracts, easements, title commitments, and closing documents, while maintaining strict confidentiality and records management.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years paralegal experience, knowledge of real estate law, strong drafting skills, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in related fields.
5+ years paralegal experience supporting transactions in law firm or in-house.
Experience with real estate transactions, title, closings, escrow, and related processes.
Strong drafting and review of contracts and ability to communicate with attorneys.
Georgia notary license or ability to obtain within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

Assist with forestry matters, timber contracts, easements, and boundary issues.
Assist with rural real estate transactions including drafting and managing contracts and closings.
Draft and manage legal documents, ensure approvals and form agreements.
Maintain legal records and support Records Retention policy.
Provide back-up administrative support to the Law Department.
