Job summary
Cherokee Strategic Solutions in Texas seeks a Paralegal IV to provide litigation support, perform legal and records research, conduct witness interviews, and prepare reports including title reviews and landowner responses. A Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one is required.
The role supports attorneys in court, reviews title commitments, maintains case files, and develops data analyses to aid litigation.
Qualifications
- Requires paralegal certificate; undergraduate degree preferred.
- Three years of real estate legal support experience recommended.
- Experience with Lexis and Westlaw for basic legal research required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills essential.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and in a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional litigation support including legal and records research.
- Conduct witness interviews and prepare deposition records.
- Review title commitments and create deed history summaries.
- Assist attorneys in the courtroom with exhibits and document screening.
- Maintain case files and manage exhibits during depositions and trial.
- Prepare reports and monthly case updates; notarization may be required.
