Job summary

Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC, headquartered in Dallas, seeks a Senior Paralegal to support its Legal Department on personal injury and general civil litigation matters. You will work with attorneys, coordinate filings, track litigation, and prepare documents for depostions, hearings and trials.

The role requires strong knowledge of Texas rules, excellent communication, and organizational skills. A background in paralegal duties within corporate or law firm settings is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years paralegal experience or Associate’s degree with 5+ years.
• 6+ years of paralegal experience preferred.
• Paralegal certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with Texas procedural rules and local court rules.
• Draft pleadings, objections, motions and subpoenas.
• Maintain litigation spreadsheets and track financials.
• Coordinate and track status of litigation and filing system.
• Prepare for deposition, hearing or trial; manage related meetings and proceedings.
• Oversee intake process for documents to insurance carriers.
