Job summary

The ideal candidate will have at least four years of paralegal experience, solid knowledge of court procedures, and proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and case-management software.

Qualifications

• At least four years of verifiable paralegal experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and deadlines.
• Experience with workers' compensation and Social Security disability is helpful.
• Experience in personal injury, family law, probate, or related civil areas is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, and PDF preparation.

Responsibilities

• Support cases from intake through settlement and file closing.
• Prepare and file pleadings, motions, notices, discovery, subpoenas, and exhibits.
• Draft client communications, case summaries, timelines, and memoranda.
• Maintain accurate case files, calendars, deadlines, and court dates.
• Assist with client intake, interviews, and records requests.
• Attend court hearings and meetings; organize exhibits and document testimony.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and others.
