Job summary

Stewart is seeking a Certified Paralegal to provide substantive and administrative support to in-house litigation counsel across multistate matters. The role includes matter management, drafting and reviewing legal documents, coordinating discovery, and supporting depositions and trials.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related experience, a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Certified Paralegal with substantive legal work experience.
• Familiar with multi-state litigation and discovery.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Certified Paralegal performs substantive legal work under attorney supervision.
• Assists attorneys by preparing legal documents and conducting routine research.
• Coordinates with related teams to achieve objectives.
• Contributes to quality and timeliness of team output.
• Identifies and solves rare problems.
• Evaluates precedents to select solutions.
• Communicates complex information clearly across teams.
• Works with limited supervision to improve efficiency.
• Individual contributor; mentors junior colleagues without supervision duties.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
