About the jobThe Senior Paralegal for the Commercial Litigation Team supports commercial litigation attorneys in the Corporate Legal Department and assists them with case management of all commercial litigation and bankruptcy matters.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist attorneys with case managementRespond to subpoenas and coordinate/manage to document productionsDraft correspondence, litigation hold notices, and ad hoc reportsIdentify, compile, and review relevant documents for discovery and other purposesAssist with case investigationo Conduct factual and legal researcho Document and present findings and opinions to attorneyso Assist in contract and other document review, including electronic reviewo Assist in witness interviewso Conduct e-discovery, document review, and document productionPreserve and collect custodial dataAssume primary responsibility for managing low exposure cases and bankruptcies o Prepare and file claims in small bankruptcy matters o Track distributions and monitor relevant pleadingsUnder direction of an attorney, resolve routine legal issuesMaintain case management databaseUpdate and coordinate quarterly case reportsOrganize electronic files of important case documentsAssist attorneys and outside counsel on special projectsAssist with the creation of systems to help organize flow of paper/documents/legal billsAct as a bridge between legal and technical teams,. translating legal needs into technical requirementsThe role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise.
