Job description

We are a 2-attorney boutique law firm specializing in civil law, including insurance bad faith, real estate, and contracts, with additional practice areas in probate, employment, and general business law.

Position: Paralegal

Location: Irvine, CA (just off the 405 freeway, 5 minutes from John Wayne Airport)

Schedule: Part-time, 2-3 days a week

Compensation: $45.00/hr - $50.00/hr, competitive pay suitable for a seasoned or semi-retired paralegal seeking part-time work

Responsibilities

1. Familiarity with State superior court rules, procedures, and deadlines
2. Experience with Outlook calendar, Adobe Pro, and Microsoft 365 Office
3. Knowledge of trial procedures, discovery, and working on pleadings such as Motions, Objections, Replies, and Briefs

Qualifications

1. Experience with appellate work is a bonus but not required
2. Organized, able to manage time effectively, and capable of multitasking in a busy office environment
