Job summary

Kisling, Nestico & Redick, LLC seeks a Senior Paralegal to support multiple Attorneys in prelitigation personal injury cases. You will manage case files, gather medical records, prepare damage summaries, and assist with litigation readiness while maintaining accurate client communication and deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years’ paralegal or related experience, a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s or paralegal certificate preferred), and strong MS Office skills with excellent attention

Responsibilities

• Case Management: investigate insurance coverages and organize medical records.

• Prepare files for litigation transfer when necessary.
• Submissions: forward medical records to carriers with demand summary.
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, and adjusters; provide weekly and monthly updates.

Description

The Senior Paralegal performs a variety of specialized, articulate, and administrative support duties for multiple Attorney’s and manages the clerical operations of complex prelitigation personal injury cases.

Position Responsibilities:

• Case Management
  • Investigation of all insurance coverages available to the client
  • Obtaining, reviewing, and organizing medical records to complete a treatment outline
  • Preparing, calculating, and maintaining damage summaries including medical expenses, lost wages, and property damage
  • Logging daily mail and drafting any correspondence necessary in the day-to-day case management
  • Preparation of file for litigation transfer when necessary
• Submissions
  • Preparing and forwarding medical specials to insurance carriers with demand summary
  • Meeting and exceeding goals set
• Communication
  • corresponding with clients, Attorney and insurance adjusters regarding case status
  • Consistent client contacts

Education:

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
• This job operates in a professional office environment. Exposure to computer screens and low level of noise.
