NELSON Worldwide is seeking a Senior Paralegal in Cincinnati to serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, guiding governance, compliance, licensing, contracts, and emerging technology strategies. You will lead contract negotiation and administration, support AI governance and risk management, and collaborate with Finance, Operations, HR, and practice leaders to align legal with business objectives.
Minimum 8 years of paralegal experience, paralegal certificate, and degree required;
The Senior Paralegal serves as a trusted advisor to NELSON’s senior leadership team, providing strategic legal and operational guidance across corporate governance, compliance, licensing, contracts, and emerging technology. This role plays a key part in supporting NELSON’s continued growth and innovation by identifying and managing legal, contractual, and operational risks associated with the firm’s business practices and evolving use of AI within the AEC industry. The Senior Paralegal supports AI governance and risk management, including the review of AI-related agreements, data and privacy considerations, intellectual property, vendor terms, and other emerging legal issues. In addition, this role leads the preparation, review, negotiation, and administration of contracts, including bids and service agreements, and oversees ongoing contractual obligations. The Senior Paralegal partners closely with Finance, Operations, HR, Practice Leaders, and other stakeholders to align legal practices with business objectives, strengthen compliance, and enable confident, informed decision-making across the enterprise.

National salary range: $75,000 – $100,000 (compensation factors are based upon years of relevant experience, qualifications/licensure, education, and location.) Additional compensation includes bonuses and benefits. Bonuses can include but are not limited to: Long Term Incentive Plan, Short Term Incentive Plan, Profit Sharing.
